Andres Kask
European Editor, UnHerd
Andres Kask is the European Editor of UnHerd, responsible for commissioning and editing coverage of European politics, culture and ideas. Based in Tallinn, Estonia, he brings a Baltic perspective to European journalism, with a particular focus on EU institutions, Eastern European politics, and the intellectual currents shaping the continent.
His editorial focus spans the political and cultural debates of Europe — from the dynamics of the European Union to the national conversations that rarely reach an English-language audience. He is interested in the ideas behind the politics: how philosophical traditions, economic models and cultural assumptions shape what Europeans argue about and why.
