After the most bitter, contentious political campaign in modern American history, voters agree: Neither of these candidates excites them.

The first exit poll data released on Election Day shows that just about 4 in 10 voters are excited about a possible Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton presidency. The exit polls, reported by CNN, also showed that 54% of people who went to the polls Tuesday approve of the job President Obama is doing.

Exit poll data reported by ABC found that 54% of voters view Clinton unfavorably, but 61% view Trump unfavorably. That’s a much higher rate than the 46% and 50%, respectively, who viewed Obama and Mitt Romney unfavorably in 2012 exit polls.
