Campaign 2016 Debate

The woman, one member of an audience of undecided voters at the town-hall-style debate, asked the presidential candidates how they would help Muslim-Americans deal with the rise of Islamophobia.

During an election in which Trump has repeatedly called for a ban on Muslim immigrants entering the U.S., people watching the debate were confounded by the Muslim-American woman’s undecided stance as a voter.
