Presidential Candidate Donald Trump Tours U.S. Border In Texas

Donald Trump is making America great again, one hat at a time.

He’s also doing right by the Lafayette, La., company Ace Specialities, from which he has bought half a million dollars worth of hats, according to a Wall Street Journal analysis of Federal Election Commission filings. That’s more than he spent on any item besides air travel, which he purchases from a company he owns himself. No outside vendor came close to billing the campaign the $500,000 that Ace did for his ubiquitous “Make America Great Again” hats.

When you add t-shirts to the mix, the total money Trump spent on these promotional items comes to $678,000, according to the report.
