Here’s your chance to own the house from ‘Silence of the Lambs’

The house that was featured in the movie "Silence of the Lambs" is currently up for sale and listed at $300,000.

British-born actor Anthony Hopkins is interviewed

If you’ve ever wanted to live in a horror movie … you might be a little off, but at least now you can. The house that was featured in the movie “Silence of the Lambs” is up for sale.

The five-bedroom, four-story house built in 1910 is listed at $300,000. It’s set on approximately 1.76 acres of land and boasts a wraparound verandah, paneled oak walls, an in-ground pool, and a large garage. FBI agent Clarice Starling found serial killer Jame Gumb in that house, but hopefully you won’t.

The Preferred Realty, the company selling the house, writes in the property description: “The pit…now there is the question…is there really a pit in the basement, or is all just movie magic? Just put on the lotion, and come see this home and find out!!!!”

What it didn’t warn you about in the description: you probably won’t get a ton of visitors.
