The world’s biggest companies by revenue are both widely dispersed (they’re based in 224 cities and 36 countries — click here to see interactive map) and highly concentrated: A third have headquarters in Beijing, Tokyo, London, Paris, or New York. No surprise, the Asian (mostly Chinese) component of the list has registered smoking growth and bumped Europe from the top spot in 2013. Once dominant, North America has fallen to third place.
