Android 2.2 starts hitting Verizon Incredible

If you are a Verizon Incredible user, you have a big update coming any day now.  Verizon (VZ) has officially started updating those phones  to Android 2.2 Froyo according to an earlier tweet from the VZWSupport account and now on Verizon’s Incredible page.

What does this mean for Incredible owners?  Their Incredibles now have:

• A much faster browser
• The ability to play Adobe Flash 10.1 videos/games
• 3G Mobile Hotspot capabilities
• Much better Exchange/enterprise support.
• The ability to use ‘Voice Actions’
• Minor speed and reliability improvements all around.

The Google (GOOG) Android 2.2 update might take up to a week to hit but Incredible owners have some Froyo to look forward to this week.
